This year I will be blending two of my favorite passions into one genre; Poetography. Each photo taken and each poem that is written can speak to each individual whose eyes land upon them in their own unique way. They say a picture tells a thousand words, yet a poet can express something deep and meaningful in a few lines. Edgar Allen Poe said, "Poetry is the rhythmical creation of beauty." John Swarkowski said : "Ansel Adams found some way to pull together those little fragments of the world and and put them together in a picture." I will attempt to do both in 2010! -Melissa
