MSpencer > July 18, 2009 Blue Waters at Crater Lake

We hiked Crater Lake in Oregon today. This is a beautiful place with crystal clear waters. We took a two hour boat tour around the lake. On the way back up from the boat ride you have to climb a 700 vertical slope that is about a mile long. It's "breath-taking!" Pun intended! :)

This lighthouse is beautiful during the daytime and even prettier at night. When I did a long exposure, a rock can be seen in the foreground. I didn't notice this until post processing.

We got to California last night and headed to China Town today. The weather was really chilly with the fog overhead but it felt good. The girls had a blast looking for purses and other junk that can only be found in China Town. Everything I saw said, Made in China. It would have been ironic if it has said, Made in the U.S.A. ha ha
